Chapter 1
Finding The Right Girl

Colby Granger is sitting on the couch of the house. Colby’s younger sister Colbie walks into the room just as Colby sighs. Colbie walks over to Colby and sits down next to him.
“What’s wrong?” Colbie asked.
“I don’t’ want to talk about it.” Colby answered.
“Colby, you know that if you talk it you will help you feel better.” Colbie said.
“I just wanted to find that special girl but so far I haven’t and I’m being to think that I won’t. It’s hard to keep a relationship with a girl being a FBI Agent.” Colby replied.
“You’ll find someone.” Colbie said.
“Well it better soon otherwise I’m giving up.” Colby replied.
Colby’s other younger sister Sharpay walks into the room.
“I’m with our sis on this one and don’t be saying that.” Sharpay said.
“Yeah whatever.” Colby replied.
Colby sighs than goes up to his room. Colbie starts to smile.
“Why are you smiling like that?” Sharpay asked.
“I have an idea who would be the perfect girl for our brother.” Colbie answered.
“Who might that be?” Sharpay asked.
“You’ll see.” Colbie answered.
Colbie gets to her feet than goes over to the phone and dials her best friend Carey’s phone number. Carey’s mother Kaitlyn picks up the phone.
“This is Kait Seaver.” Kaitlyn said.
“Is Carey there?” Colbie asked.
“Yes she is.” Kaitlyn answered.
Kaitlyn takes the phone to where Carey is and passes it to her. Carey puts her ear to the phone.
“Hi this is Carey.” Carey replied.
“It’s me Colbie.” Colbie said.
“What would you like?” Carey asked.
“I was wondering if you were interested in coming over to my house for the night.” Colbie answered.
“Yeah I would like that and I’ll finally get to meet your family.” Carey said.
“I’ll meet you in park and we can walk together.” Colbie replied.
Carey smiles.
“Alright see you soon.” Carey said.
Carey and Colbie hang up on each other. Kaitlyn looks at Carey.
“What’s was that all about sweetie?” Kaitlyn asked.
“Colbie invited me over for the night.” Carey answered.
Kaitlyn smiles just as Bertram comes into the room. Bertram pulls Kaitlyn and kisses her. Carey smiles than goes to her room and gets her stuff ready than leaves to meet up with Colbie. Carey gets to the park and looks around. Colbie comes up behind Carey and taps her on the shoulder. Carey turns around and hugs Colbie. They walk back to Colbie’s house and than walk inside. Colbie’s mother Terri comes into the hallway.
“Mom, this is my best friend Carey Destiny Angel Seaver.” Colbie said.
Terri smiles than shakes Carey’s hand.
“It’s nice to finally meet you and my daughter has told me lots about you.” Terri replied.
Colbie’s sisters and brothers except Colby come into the hallway.
“I’m Colbie’s sister Sharpay.” Sharpay said.
Carey smiles.
“I am Sharpay’s fraternal twin brother Ryan.” The guy standing beside Sharpay replied.
Carey smiles again.
“What are the rest of your names?” Carey asked.
“I’m Taylor.” Taylor said.
“Hi I’m Troy.” Troy replied.
“I’m Gabriella.” Gabriella said.
“Hi I’m Chad.” Chad replied.
“I’m Martha.” Martha said.
“Hi I’m Kelsi.” Kelsi replied.
“I’m Jason.” Jason said.
“Hi I’m Zeke.” Zeke replied.
“The last two are my youngest siblings Bindi Sue and Robert Clarence.” Colbie said.
“Don’t you have another brother that’s in the FBI?” Carey asked.
“Yeah I do but he’s up in his room.” Colbie answered.
“What’s his name again?” Carey asked.
“Colby.” Colbie answered.
Bindi Sue looks at Carey than at Colbie.
“Actually Colby is the shower.” Bindi Sue said.
“Oh ok.” Colbie replied.
“Where I am going to sleep tonight?” Carey asked.
“You are sleeping in my bedroom.” Colbie answered.
Colbie takes Carey’s hand they start on the way to her bedroom. Colby comes out of the bathroom where just a towel. Carey smiles.
Colby notices her sister and Carey.
“Wow she’s so beautiful.” Colby thinks to himself.
“He’s so incredibly gorgeous.” Carey thinks to herself.
“Hi there you must Carey.” Colby said.
“Yeah that’s me.” Carey replied.
“I’m Colbie’s brother Colby.” Colby said.
“Are you really an FBI Agent?” Carey asked.
“Yes I am.” Colby answered.
“That’s so totally cool.” Carey said.
“Well I should go get changed because it’s kind of cold standing here in just a towel.” Colby replied.
Carey laughs. Colbie grabs Carey’s arm and takes to her bedroom.
“What do you think of brother?” Colbie asked.
“He’s so gorgeous.” Carey answered.
“I had a feeling that you would say that.” Colbie said.
Carey sits on the Colbie’s bed and lets a long sigh. Carey gets to her feet than goes to leave the room.
“I’m going to washroom.” Carey said.
Colbie nods her head and Carey leaves. Carey walks down the hallway to the bathroom. Colby’s bedroom door is wide open. Colby is lying on his bed with his head facing the door. Colby sees Carey walking by.
“Where you are going?” Colby asked.
“The washroom.” Carey answered.
Colby smiles a little.
“Could you come in on your way back?” Colby asked.
“Yeah ok I can do that.” Carey answered.
Colby smiles again. Carey continues on her way to the washroom. A few minutes later Carey comes into Colby’s room. Colby smiles.
“Could you shut the door behind you?” Colby asked.
“Yeah ok.” Carey answered.
Carey shuts the door than looks at Colby. Colby gets to his feet and walks over to Carey. Carey looks up into Colby’s green eyes.
“You’re so beautiful Carey.” Colby said.
“Thanks.” Carey replied blushing a little.
Colby moves close to Carey so that there’s no space between them. Colby leans down and kisses Carey. Carey gasps than smiles. A few minutes later Colby breaks the kiss.
“I’m sorry I don’t know what came over me.” Colby said.
Carey grins. Carey kisses Colby back. A few minutes later Carey breaks the kiss. Colby wraps his arms around Carey than starts to kiss her again and they fall onto his bed without breaking their kiss. They kiss like for the longest time than Carey suddenly stops.
“I should get back to your sister before she starts worry.” Carey said.
Carey goes to leave but Colby grabs her arm.
“Please stay just a little longer.” Colby replied.
Carey smiles than they start to kiss again. They stop after a few minutes and Carey goes back to Colbie’s room. Carey walks through the door.
“What took you so long?” Colbie asked.
“I forgot the way back.” Carey answered.
“Yeah right like I believe you.” Colbie said.
Carey shakes her head.
“Fine believe what you want.” Carey replied as she gets ready for bed.
Carey climbs into the sleeping bag that she bought with her and closes her eyes. Colbie climbs into bed and falls asleep right away. Carey quietly gets out of her sleeping bag than leaves the room and goes to Colby’s room. Carey opens the door than walks into the room and shuts the door behind her. Carey walks over to bed where Colby is sleeping and shakes him a little. Colby moans the opens his eyes.
“Carey.” Colby said.
“Yeah it’s me.” Carey replied.
Colby smiles than pulls Carey down onto the bed next to him and wraps his arms around her. They fall asleep in each other’s embrace. Colbie wakes up the next morning to find that Carey isn’t in her room. Colbie walks to the living room. Terri is sitting on the couch.
“Have you seen Carey?” Colbie asked.
“No I haven’t Baby Girl.” Terri answered.
“That’s strange because when I went to bed last night she was in her sleeping bag but when I woke up this morning she wasn’t.” Colbie answered.
Carey walks into the living room. Colbie glares at her.
“Do you want something?” Carey asked.
“I like to know where you slept last night.” Colbie answered.
“That’s for me to know and you to find out.” Carey said.
Colby walks into the living room wearing a suit. Terri smiles.
“Are you going to back to work today?” Terri asked.
“Yes mom I am.” Colby answered.
Colby winks at Carey than leaves to go to the FBI Building. Don walks over to Colby.
“Good morning Granger.” Don said.
“Mornin’ Eppes.” Colby replied.
A few hours pass. Colby is sitting at his desk looking really sad. Megan walks by and notices Colby’s sad look.
“What’s wrong with you?” Megan asked.
“I miss someone.” Colby answered.
“Who might that be?” Megan asked.
“You’ll find out just like everyone else here when the time is right.” Colby answered.
Colby looks over at the door just as Colbie comes in with Carey. Colby starts to smile a little than jumps to his feet and walks over to them. Colby takes Carey outside than pulls her close and kisses her. A few minutes later Colby breaks the kiss.
“What was that for?” Carey asked.
“It’s was to make for early before I left the house because I didn’t want to kiss you in front of my mom and my sister.” Colby answered.
Colby wraps his arms around Carey and Carey cuddles up to him. Colbie suddenly appears.
“I knew it.” Colbie said.
“Knew what CG?” Colby asked.
“That you two were in love.” Colbie answered.
Carey starts to shiver a little. Colby tightens his grip on Carey to keep her warm. Colby looks at Colbie.
“You can’t tell anyone about this.” Colby said.
“Why can’t I?” Colbie asked.
“I want to wait until the perfect moment to tell everyone about Carey and me.” Colby answered.
Colby lets go over Carey than the three of them walk inside. Don walks over to Colbie and Carey. Don looks at Carey than at Colbie.
“Who’s your friend?” Don asked.
“This is my best friend Carey Destiny Angel Seaver.” Colbie answered.
Don smiles.
“It’s nice to meet you and I’m Special Agent Don Eppes.” Don said.
Megan, David and Liz walk over.
“I’m Megan Reeves.” Megan replied.
“Hi there I’m David Sinclair.” David said.
“I’m Liz Warner.” Liz replied.
Carey looks around than at Colby. Colby just smiles than goes over to his desk again. Carey and Colbie stay for awhile then leave. A few hours pass and Colby is at home. Carey is at her house. Colby is dreaming about her future and Carey is dreaming about her future with Colby.

Chapter 2
Revenge of Carey’s Ex

It’s been a few weeks since Colby and Carey started dating. Colbie is still the only one that knows about. Carey is over at Colbie’s house watching a movie with her. Colbie lets out a long sigh. Carey looks at her.
“What’s wrong with you?” Carey asked.
“I’m miss my boyfriend so much and I haven’t seen in so long.” Colbie answered.
“What’s his name?” Carey asked.
“His name is Gary.” Colbie answered.
Carey sighs.
“Do you miss my brother?” Colbie asked.
“Yeah I do a lot.” Carey answered.
“Do you want to go see him?” Colbie asked.
“Yeah sure I would.” Carey answered.
Carey and Colbie get their coats than leaving the house. They start heading towards the FBI Building. All of a sudden someone in ski mask comes up behind them than grabs Carey and takes her away. Colbie starts running as fast she can to the FBI Building. Colbie reaches within a few minutes than burst through the doors. Don and Colby look up. Colby walks over to his sister.
“Where’s the fire?” Colby asked.
“There’s no fire but Carey was kidnapped on our way here.” Colbie answered.
Colby gasps than slides to the floor.
“Who would do this?” Colby asked.
“I don’t know.” Colbie answered.
Colby sighs than tears start to fall down his cheeks.
“Damn it, we have to find because without her I’m incomplete.” Colby said.
Don, Megan and David exchange looks.
“What do you mean?” Don asked.
Colby gets to his feet.
“There’s no time for that now.” Colby answered.
Don looks at Colbie.
“Did you see which way the kidnapper took her?” Don asked.
“I think so.” Colbie answered.
They all walk back to the park where Carey got kidnapped. Don and David start to look around for clues to help them figure out where the kidnapper took Carey. Colby is trying his hardest to keep a clear mind but it’s not working.
“Everyone come here.” Don said.
They all walk over.
“What did you find?” Colby asked.
Don holds a blue sapphire circle necklace.
“I found this.” Don answered.
Colbie looks at it.
“That’s hers.” Colbie said.
“Are you sure?” Don asked.
“Yes I am because it’s her birthstone and she always wears it around her neck.” Colbie answered.
Don looks around than goes across the street to the store. Don walks inside. The guy working there looks up.
“Can I help you sir?” the guy asked.
Don holds up his FBI badge.
“I’m Special Agent Don Eppes.” Don answered.
“What would like with me?” The guy asked.
“I’d like to your name first and secondly if you saw anyone being dragged by your window.” Don answered.
“My name is Jacob Andrews and I did someone being dragged by window just a few minutes ago.” The guy said.
“What was the person being dragged?” Don asked.
“They were being dragged down the street.” Jacob answered.
“Are there any places near by here where a kidnapper would take someone?” Don asked.
“There’s an old abandon warehouse around the corner from here.” Jacob answered.
Don walks out of the store and back to where other’s are. Colby sighs than starts to sing Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely by Backstreet Boys.

Don looks at Colby.
“Where you are singing that?” Don asked.
“I just felt like it.” Colby answered.
Don starts walking down the street. The rest of them start following him. They reach the old abandon warehouse. Colby starts on his tip-toes and peaks in a window. Colby sighs.
“What did you see?” David asked.
“She’s in there but she’s all tied up and there’s a cloth over her mouth.” Colby answered.
Colby walks over to the door and kicks it open.. Colby goes to walk over to Carey but the kidnapper jumps out in front of Carey than holds a gun to her head.
“One step closer and I’ll shoot her.” The kidnapper said.
Colby gasps.
“No please don’t.” Colby replied.
“I told I won’t if you stay where you are.” The kidnapper said.
Don sneaks up behind the kidnapper and takes his gun. Colby walks over to the kidnapper.
“You son of Bitch.” Colby replied as he punches the kidnapper which knocks him the ground.
Colby unties Carey and takes the cloth off her mouth. Carey gets to her feet and hugs Colby.
“You’re my hero Colby Granger.” Carey said.
“Are you ok my love?” Colby asked.
“Yeah I am now that you’re here.” Carey answered.
“Did he hurt you?” Colby asked.
“No he didn’t but I’m glad that you came when you did because he probably would have.” Carey answered.
Don takes off the ski mask.
“Who is he?” Don asked.
Carey looks at him.
“He’s my ex-boyfriend Corey.” Carey answered.
Corey starts to come to. Corey gets to his feet and gets really angry when he sees Carey in Colby’s arms.
“Get your hands off my woman.” Corey yelled.
“She’s not your woman she’s mine and it’s going to stay that way.” Colby screamed.
Carey smiles a little and cuddles up to Colby. Corey looks at Colby than at Carey.
“What’s he got that I haven’t?” Corey asked.
“He’s a lot nicer to me than you ever where and he treats the way I wanted to be treated.” Carey answered.
The kidnapper goes to take Carey away from Colby. Colby takes out his gun and shoots the kidnapper. Carey smiles. They all go back to the FBI Building. Carey sighs deeply. Colby wraps his arms around Carey. Don looks at Carey in Colby’s arms.
“What’s going between you two anyway?” Don asked.
“She’s my girlfriend.” Colby answered.
“You’re what?” David asked.
“I know that you all heard me.” Colby answered.
“Why didn’t you tell us?” Megan asked.
“I wanted to wait for the perfect time.” Colby answered.
Colbie just smiles than sighs. Colby looks at his sister.
“What’s wrong CT?” Colby asked.
“I miss my boyfriend so much.” Colbie answered.
Colby takes his cellphone outside and dials Gary’s number. Gary’s younger brother Tucker picks up the receiver.
“Hi Tucker here.” Tucker said.
“Can I speak Gary?” Colby asked.
“Yeah sure.” Tucker answered.
Gary walks into the room and Tucker passes him the receiver.
“Who it is?” Gary asked.
“I’m not sure.” Tucker answered.
Gary puts the receiver to his ear.
“Hello this is Gary.” Gary said.
“Hi Gary.” Colby replied.
“Agent Colby Granger.” Gary said.
“Yeah that’s me.” Colby replied.
“Why are you phoning me?” Gary asked.
“My sister really misses you to the point it’s got really worried.” Colby answered.
“Alright I’m coming to see her but don’t tell I want it to be surprise.” Gary said.
“I won’t say a word.” Colby replied.
Colby and Gary hang up on each other. Colby goes back inside the building. Colbie walks over to him.
“What were doing outside?” Colbie asked.
“It’s a secret CG.” Colby answered.
Carey takes Colby out of earshot.
“Will you tell me gorgeous?” Carey asked.
“Yeah of course beautiful.” Colby answered.
“What’s the secret than?” Carey asked.
“I went outside to phone Colbie’s boyfriend Gary and tell him how much she misses him so he’s coming to see her.” Colby answered.
“You really care about your sister don’t you?” Carey asked.
Colby nods his head.
“Yes I do.” Colby answered.
“More than you care about me?” Carey asked.
“No never because you mean the world me.” Colby answered.
Carey smiles. Colby wraps his arms around Carey and kisses her. A few minutes later they break apart. All of a sudden Gary walks into the FBI Building. Colby smiles. Colbie is sitting on by the way. Gary notices than walks over to her.
“What’s with the long face angel?” Gary asked.
Colbie looks up than gets to her feet and hugs Gary.
“I just missed you that’s all.” Colbie answered.
Gary wraps his arms around Colbie.
“Yeah I know you did and that’s why I’m here.” Gary said.
“How did you know?” Colbie asked.
Colby walks over to them holding Carey’s hand.
“I phoned him and told him because seeing you the way you were was really worrying me.” Colby answered.
Colbie hugs Colby.
“You are the best brother in world.” Colbie said.
Colby smiles.
“I know I am.” Colby replied.
Gary notices Carey.
“Who are you?” Gary asked.
“I’m Colby’s girlfriend Carey Destiny Angel Seaver.” Colby answered.
“She’s also my best friend.” Colbie said.
Gary smiles.
“That’s so cool.” Gary replied.
“How’s Tucker doing?” Colbie asked.
“Tucker is doing just fine.” Gary answered.
“Who’s Tucker?” Carey asked.
“Tucker is my younger brother.” Gary answered.
“Oh ok cool.” Carey said.
The hours pass and now it’s nighttime. Colby is sleeping dreaming of Carey and Carey is sleeping dreaming of Colby. Gary and Colbie are sleeping in each other’s embrace.

Chapter 3
Colby’s Birthday

It’s been a few weeks since Corey kidnapped Carey. Colby and Carey are falling deep in love everyday. Colbie is over at Carey’s house just hanging out.
“Did my brother tell you what this Friday is?” Colbie asked.
“No he didn’t.” Carey answered.
“He’s turning a year older.” Colbie answered.
“That means it’s his birthday.” Carey said.
“Yeah it is.” Colbie replied.
“I have an idea.” Carey said.
“What would that be?” Colbie asked.
Carey smiled.
“We should through him a surprise party.” Carey answered.
“That’s a good idea.” Colbie said.
“Will come with me to get a present for him?” Carey asked.
“Yeah of course I will.” Colbie answered.
Carey and Colbie walked downtown to the mall. They walked into the Men’s Jewelry store. The guy in charge walked over them.
“What can I help you ladies with today?” the guy asked.
“I’m looking for a present for my boyfriend for his birthday.” Carey answered.
“My name is Cornell Burgh.” The guy in charge said.
Carey sighed.
“My name is Carey Seaver and this is my best friend Colbie Granger.” Carey replied.
Carey walked over to the necklace display and looked at them for the longest time. All of a sudden a Black Hills Gold Eagle Pendent caught Carey’s eye. Carey looked at Cornell.
“Did you find one to your liking?” Cornell asked.
“Yes I did.” Carey answered.
Cornell walked in behind the necklace display.
“Which one is it?” Cornell asked.
“It’s the one the Black Hills Gold Eagle Pendent in the middle row.” Carey answered.
Cornell took it out.
“That will be $113.” Cornell said.
Carey gave Cornell the money for the necklace. Cornell put it into a box and Carey left with it. Carey walked home than up to her room and put the necklace in her sock drawer. Colbie walked into the room.
“Where are we going to have my brother’s surprise party?” Colbie asked.
“I was thinking that FBI building.” Carey answered.
“That’s a good idea but it would be best to run it by Don first.” Colbie said.
Carey and Colbie walked the FBI building. Colby sees Carey and walked over to. Colby pulled Carey close and kissed her. Carey just smiled. Colbie smiled. A few minutes later Colby broke the kiss. Colbie looked at Carey.
“Wow it’s looks someone missed you.” Colbie said.
“Yeah I did miss her more than words can say.” Colby replied.
Carey smiled.
“I have to talk to Don about something but when I’m done I’ll back over to see you.” Carey said.
Colby smiled and nodded his head. Carey walked over to where Don is talking to Liz and David.
“Can I talk you in private please Don?” Carey asked.
“Yeah sure.” Don answered.
“Ok good.” Carey said.
They walked out of earshot of everyone else.
“What did you want to talk me about?” Don asked.
“Colby’s birthday is on Friday and I was wondering if I could through him a surprise party here.” Carey answered.
“Yeah I don’t see why not.” Don said.
“Thanks so much Don.” Carey replied.
“No problem.” Don said.
The next few days passed and now it’s Colby’s birthday. Carey walked into the FBI building and over to David. Carey looked at David.
“Can I help you?” David asked.
“I was wondering if you could get Colby out of the here for a few hours so that we can set up his surprise birthday party for him.” Carey answered.
“Alright I can do that and when everything is ready just get Don to call me on my cell.” David said.
“Thanks so much David.” Carey replied.
“It’s no problem at all.” David said.
David walked over to where Colby is. Colby looked at David.
“How can I help you Sinclair?” Colby asked.
“I’m going for a walk but I’d really like some company.” David answered.
Colby looked over at Carey than back at David.
“I really don’t want to be away from Carey.” Colby said.
“Oh come Granger, you need time away from each other because it’s good for a relationship.” David replied.
Colby smiled a little.
“Alright I’ll go but just give me a few minutes to tell her and say good-bye.” Colby said.
“Oh okay than hurry up.” David replied.
Colby walked over to Carey.
“What can I help you with gorgeous?” Carey asked.
“I just wanted to tell you that I’m going for a walk with David because he’s want some company.” Colby answered.
“That’s okay with me gorgeous.” Carey said.
“Are you sure beautiful?” Colby asked.
“Yeah I’m sure gorgeous.” Carey answered.
“Are you going to miss me?” Colby asked.
“Yeah of course I’ll miss you gorgeous.” Carey answered.
Colby pulled Carey close and kissed her passionately. A few minutes later Colby broke than kiss. Colby looked into Carey’s blue-green eyes.
“I love you Carey.” Colby said.
Carey’s mouth dropped open in shocked. Colby walked over to where David is and they left the building. Colbie walked over to Carey and waved her hand in front of Carey’s face. Carey gasped and fainted. Colbie looked over where Don, Amita and Charlie are.
“Don, Amita, Charlie.” Colbie yelled.
The three of them ran over. Charlie noticed Carey on the floor.
“What happen to her?” Charlie asked.
“I don’t know because I noticed that she was in shock so I waved my hand in front her face and than she fainted.” Colbie answered.
Don ran to the little kitchen and got a glass of water. Don took the glass of water back over and poured it on Carey. Carey opened her eyes and jumped to feet.
“Ah Don, that’s cold.” Carey yelled.
“Well it got you to wake up.” Amita said.
Carey sighed. Colbie looked at Carey.
“Why did you faint like that?” Colbie asked.
“The reason I fainted was because of your brother.” Carey answered.
“What did he do?” Amita asked.
“He took me by shock before he left with David when he told me that he loved me.” Carey answered.
“He did?” Colbie asked.
“Yes he did.” Carey answered.
“What did you say?” Don asked.
“I didn’t say anything because I was too shocked.” Carey answered.
“Do you love him?” Colbie asked.
“Yeah of course I do but I’m not ready to tell him yet.” Carey answered.
They all work together to get the building decorated for Colby’s birthday. Carey looked at Don.
“Could you phone David’s cellphone to let him know everything is ready?” Carey asked.
“Yeah sure I can.” Don answered.
Don dialed David’s cellphone number. David hit the talk button on his cellphone.
“Sinclair.” David said.
“Eppes here, everything is ready.” Don replied.
“Alright we are on our way back.” David said.
Don and David hang up on each other.
“They are their way back.” Don replied.
Don, Amita, Charlie, Carey and Colbie hide. Carey turned out the lights. David and Colby walked into the building. Colby looked around.
“Why are the lights off in the daytime?” Colby asked.
“I don’t know Granger so turn them on.” David answered.
Colby turned on the lights. Carey, Don, Amita, Charlie and Colbie jumped out from the hiding places.
“SURPRISE HAPPY BIRHTDAY COLBY.” They all yelled together.
Colby is speechless for a few minutes.
“Whose idea was this?” Colby asked.
Carey walked over to Colby.
“It was my idea gorgeous.” Carey answered.
Colby pulled Carey close and kissed her passionately. A few minutes later Colby broke the kiss.
“I knew that was good reason why I fell in love with you.” Colby said.
“Did you really mean what you said before you left early?” Carey asked.
“Yes I did from the bottom of my heart.” Colby answered.
“It’s going to take me awhile before I’m able to say it back to you.” Carey said.
“That’s okay darling because I understand.” Colby replied.
Carey smiled and hugged Colby.
“I picked this up the other day for you.” David said as he passed a bag to Colby.
Colby opened the bag to find a day planner.
“Thanks Sinclair.” Colby replied.
Don, Amita and Charlie passed Colby a bag. Colby opened it to find a picture that was taken a few days after Colby rejoined the FBI. Colby smiled. Carey looked at Colby.
“What it is?” Carey asked.
“It’s a picture of everyone just after I rejoined the FBI.” Colby answered.
“What do you mean rejoined?” Carey asked.
“A few years back I was caught as spy and giving information to the Chinese about the FBI.” Colby answered.
“Why?” Carey asked.
“I got caught up in all and never really thought that would get me in trouble.” Colby answered.
“We let him go for awhile but than realized that he was in trouble so we needed to help him out.” Don said.
“Things were rough between Sinclair and I for awhile but we are back to being friends now.” Colby replied.
Colbie passed her brother a bag. Colby opened the bag to find a brown teddy bear that says #1 Brother. Colbie looked at her brother.
“Do you like it?” Colbie asked.
“Yeah it’s really cute sis.” Colby answered.
Carey passed Colby a bag. Colby opened and when he saw the Black Hills Gold Eagle Pendent his eyes widen in shock.
“There’s a card in there too.” Carey said.
“When did you get the card?” Colbie asked.
“My mother has a whole bunch at home so I found that one suited your brother.” Carey answered.
Colby took out the envelope that has the card in it. There’s a piece of paper inside the envelope too. Colby took out the piece of paper than unfolded it.
“What it is?” David asked.
“It’s a poem.” Colby answered.
“Are you going to read it?” Charlie asked.
“Yeah I was getting to that.” Colby answered.
“Alright let’s hear it.” Amita said.
Colby sighed than started to read the poem.

Colbie looked at Carey.
“Did you write that poem?” Colbie asked.
“Yes I did last night.” Carey answered.
Colby stared at Carey.
“You really wrote that poem?” Colby asked.
Carey nodded her head.
“Yeah I did.” Carey answered.
“How come you never told that you could write poetry?” Colby asked.
“That’s simple gorgeous you never asked.” Carey answered.
Colby put the Pendent on.
“You know that’s look really good on you. Colbie said.
“Thanks sis.” Colby replied.
A few hours later Colbie and Colby are home. Their mother Terri walked into the living room where they are. Terri noticed the pendent around Colby’s neck.
“Where did you get that pendent?” Terri asked.
“I got it from Carey for my birthday.” Colby answered.
“Why would Carey give you something like that?” Terri asked.
“She’s my girlfriend mom and I love you more anything else in the whole world.” Colby answered.
“Well I’m very happy that you have finally found someone son.” Terri said.
~Meanwhile at Carey’s house~
Carey is sitting on the couch when her mother Kaitlyn walked into the room. Carey let out a long sigh.
“What’s wrong dear?” Kaitlyn asked.
“I miss him so much.” Carey answered.
“Who are you talking about?” Kaitlyn asked.
“I’m talking about Colbie’s older brother Colby.” Carey answered.
“Why do you miss him?” Kaitlyn asked.
“He’s my boyfriend and I really love him.” Carey answered.
Bertram walked into the room.
“How old is he?” Bertram asked.
“He’s 35 years old.” Carey answered.
“I don’t want you dating him anymore.” Bertram said.
“Why not dad?” Carey asked.
“He’s too old for you.” Bertram answered.
“Dad I love him.” Carey yelled.
“I’m your father and I don’t want you dating an older man.” Bertram screamed.
Carey started crying and ran out of the house.
“Nice one honey.” Kaitlyn said.
Carey went to Colbie’s house and knocked on the door. Terri opened the door and noticed Carey’s tears.
“Why are you crying?” Terri asked.
“My father found out about your son and me.” Carey answered.
“What happened to make you cry?” Terri asked.
“He told me that he didn’t want me being with an older man.” Carey answered.
Colby walked into the room at the very moment.
“It might help if I talk to him.” Colby said.
“Trust me not a good idea.” Carey replied.
“How come?” Colby asked.
“My father is very stubborn and once he decides something there’s no changing his mind.” Carey answered.
“Can I at least try?” Colby asked.
“Yeah ok.” Carey answered.
Colby and Carey walked over to her house hand in hand. Carey opened the door and walked inside. Colby followed Carey inside. Bertram and Kaitlyn walked into the hallway. Bertram looked at Colby.
“Who are you?” Bertram asked.
“I’m Colbie’s older brother Colby.” Colby answered.
“Well I want you to stay away from my daughter.” Bertram yelled.
“I’m afraid can’t do that sir.” Colby said.
“Why can’t you?” Bertram asked.
“I love her that’s why.” Colby answered.
Bertram sighed.
“I don’t have my daughter dating a man that’s 9 years older than her.” Bertram said.
“Why not?” Colby asked.
“I just don’t want her to get hurt.” Bertram answered.
Colby wrapped his arms around Carey.
“I would never ever let that happen because I care about her a lot and I’m also a Special Agent with FBI.” Colby answered.
“Are you really?” Kaitlyn asked.
“Yes I am.” Colby answered.
Bertram looked at Carey than at Colby.
“Do you promise that you’ll protect her?” Bertram asked.
“Yes sir I do.” Colby answered.
“Alright than you can be with her and please call me Bertram.” Bertram said.
Colby smiled. Carey wiggled out of Colby’s arms and hugged her father.
“Thanks dad.” Carey replied.
Bertram smiled.
“No problem sweetie because I can see now that you too love each other and I only want my children be happy in love.” Bertram said.
Colby stayed for awhile than went home but not before giving Carey a good-bye kiss. A few hours later Carey is bed dreaming of her future with Colby and Colby is bed dreaming of his future with Carey. Colbie and Gary are sleeping in each other’s embrace.
