Chapter 1
Manny Meets Mandy

One day in Sheetrock Hills Manny and his tools were doing a repair in the park when all of a sudden a girl about Manny's age was walking towards them when Manny looked up and saw her he fell in love with her.
TURNER: Manny, what are you looking at?
MANNY: WOW‼ She's so hermoso/beautiful.
DUSTY: Who is Manny?
MANNY (as he points to the girl walking towards them): Oh, her.
The tools look to where Manny is pointing and they see her too.
FELIPE: She is beautiful.
SQUEEZE: Why don't you say hi to her, Manny?
As the girl walks by Manny and the Tools, Manny steps in front of her.
MANNY: Hi, I'm Manny Garcia.
THE GIRL: I'm Mandy Granger.
MANNY: That's a beautiful name.
MANDY: Gracias, Manny.
MANNY: You know Spanish?
MANDY: I know how to say a few things in Spanish and that's about it.
MANNY: Oh, Mandy, I would like you to meet my Tools.
MANDY: Your tools?
MANNY: Yeah my Tools.
Mandy suddenly notices 8 tools standing next to Manny.
MANDY: WHOA‼
MANNY: Mandy, these are my Tools. Felipe, Turner, Flicker, Dusty, Squeeze, Pat, Stretch and Rusty.
MANDY: I never met talking tools before. It's nice to meet you.
THE TOOLS: It's nice to meet you too.
PAT: I'm a hammer.
MANDY (laughing): I can see that you are Pat and you're a fine hammer too Pat.
PAT: Thank you.
MANNY: So Mandy what brings you to Sheetrock Hills?
MANDY: Well I had to get away from my ex-boyfriend Sean Burrell.
MANNY: So you just broke up with him?
MANDY: Well actually it was three weeks ago.
MANNY: Oh ok. So why did Sean break up with you?
MANDY: Actually, Manny it was me that broke up with him.
MANNY: Oh ok. So why did you break up with him?
MANDY: Well, he was too controlling and he wouldn't let me do what I wanted to do when I wanted to do it and also he wouldn't let me talk for myself so after a month of being with him I had to break up with him and when I did he got angry and told me that I had to watch my back when I least expect it.
MANNY: Aren't you scared that he may come and get you back or something like that?
MANDY: No I'm not because I have nothing to be scared about.
PAT: Why is that?
MANDY: Well that's because my dad, Colby works for the FBI.
PAT: What does FBI stand for?
MANDY: Federal Bureau of Investigation.
MANNY: So what will the FBI do to keep you safe from your ex-boyfriend?
MANDY: Well they have him under surveillance.
SQUEEZE: What does that mean?
MANDY: Well that means they know what he's doing, where he's at, at all times. So when he tries to call me or something like that the FBI will know it.
MANNY: That's cool.
MANDY: Thanks, Manny.
Later that night Mandy is at home talking to her parents and her brother and sister.
TERRI: So what did you do today, Baby girl?
MANDY: I went to the park and I met this gorgeous repair man that I have ever seen in my life.
CHAD: What's his name?
MANDY: His name is Manny Garcia and he has 8 tools that talk.
SHARPAY: Talking tools that's new.
MANDY: Yes I know.
COLBY: What are the tool's names?
MANDY: Their names are: Felipe, Turner, Flicker, Dusty, Squeeze, Pat, Stretch and Rusty.
TERRI: What kind of tools are they?
MANDY: Felipe is a Phillips Screwdriver, Turner is a Flat Screwdriver, Flicker is a flashlight, Dusty is a Hand Saw, Squeeze is a pair of Pliers, Pat is a Hammer, Stretch is a Tape Measure and Rusty is a Monkey Wrench.
CHAD: So, sis are you in love with this repair man?
MANDY: Yes, Chad, I am but he doesn't know that I'm in love with him.
SHARPAY: Is he in love with you?
MANDY: I'm not sure if he is or not Shar.
SHARPAY: What do you mean by that?
MANDY: Well he didn't tell me that he was or not.
Later that night Mandy is in her bed dreaming about Manny and Manny is in his bed dreaming about making Mandy his girl.

Chapter 2
Mandy Meets Kelly

The next day Mandy was walking by the repair shop just as Manny was coming out of the repair shop.
MANNY: Hi, Mandy.
MANDY: Hi, Manny. Hi, Tools.
TOOLS: Hi, Mandy.
MANDY: Where are you going Manny?
MANNY: I’m going to go see Kelly the owner of the Hardware store. Do you want to come with us?
MANDY: Sure I would love to Manny.
Now Manny and Mandy are walking into the Hardware store.
KELLY: Hi, Manny. Hi, Tools.
MANNY AND THE TOOLS: Hi, Kelly.
KELLY: Who's your friend, Manny?
MANNY: Kelly this is Mandy Granger she's new here in town.
KELLY: It's nice to meet you Mandy. I'm Kelly.
MANDY: It's nice to meet you too Kelly. (turns to Manny and the Tools) Manny, Tools, I was wondering if I could talk to Kelly for a moment alone.
TURNER: Why?
MANDY: There's something I want to talk to Kelly about.
MANNY: Why can't you tell us as well?
MANDY: It's a girl thing, Manny.
MANNY: Oh ok. I'll just get what I need for a repair and then I'll leave you two ladies alone.
So Manny got what he needed from Kelly for the repair and left the Hardware store. Mandy stayed there to talk to Kelly.
KELLY: So Mandy what do you want to talk to me about that you didn't want Manny or the Tools to hear?
MANDY: Kelly I'll tell you if you promise to keep it a secret.
KELLY: Sure I can keep it a secret.
MANDY: Thanks, Kelly.
KELLY: You're welcome. So what's your secret?
MANDY: I'm in love with Manny, but I'm too shy to tell him.
KELLY: Why are you too shy to tell him, Mandy?
MANDY: Well, I don't know if he feels the same way about me and if I tell him that I'm in love with him and he isn't in love with me I'll feel like a fool.
KELLY: Well, Mandy you better tell him soon before it's too late.
MANDY: Yes I know that, but I don't know how to tell him.
KELLY: Well I do know one way.
MANDY: Really you do?
KELLY: Yes I do.
MANDY: What is it, please tell me?
KELLY: Tomorrow night is the annual Sheetrock Hills Talent Night you can sing a few songs to him to tell him how you feel about him.
MANDY: Thanks Kelly, I will do that, but I'm not sure what songs to sing to him yet.
KELLY: So why don't you think about what songs you want to sing to Manny tomorrow, tonight?
MANDY: Thanks, Kelly.
KELLY: You're welcome, Mandy.
~Meanwhile in Manny's Repair Shop~
DUSTY: So Manny what are you going to do tomorrow for the Talent Show?
MANNY: Well, Dusty, I was thinking about singing some songs for Mandy.
TURNER: What songs are you going to sing for her?
MANNY: I don't know yet, Turner. I'll have to think about that for awhile.
STRETCH: Why don't you sing some songs about how you feel about Mandy, Manny?
MANNY: That's a great idea, Stretch. What songs should they be?
FELIPE: How about a song about love?
MANNY: Felipe that's a great idea and I know the perfect song to sing to her.
SQUEEZE: What's the song called, Manny?

DUSTY: That sounds like a great song Manny.
MANNY: Thanks Dusty. It is a great song and it will show her that I love her.
STRETCH: Are you going to sing any other songs to her?
MANNY: I was thinking about singing "Right Here Waiting."
PAT: You're right here waiting for what, Manny?
MANNY (laughing): No, Pat the song is called "Right Here Waiting."
PAT: Oh, yeah I knew that. (pauses for a moment) I'm a hammer.
~Meanwhile at Mandy's house~
TERRI: What's wrong, Baby Girl?
MANDY: Mom, I met Kelly the owner of the Hardware store here in town and she told me that there's a Talent Show tomorrow night and she suggested that I sing some songs that shows how much I'm in love with Manny.
TERRI: Oh ok, but why does that make you a little upset?
MANDY: I don't know what songs I want to sing to Manny to show him how I feel about him.
SHARPAY: How about the song "How Did I Fall In Love With You?"
MANDY: Thanks, Shar. I love that song. I also want to sing another song and Sharpay how would you like to sing it with me?

Chapter 3
Sheetrock Hills Talent Show

It's the next day and also the day of the annual Sheetrock Hills Talent Night. Manny is in the repair shop talking with the tools.
FELIPE: So Manny are you nervous about tonight?
MANNY: I am a little nervous, Felipe.
DUSTY: Why are you a little nervous, Manny?
MANNY: Well, what if I sing those songs to Mandy and she doesn't like my singing voice and what if she doesn't want anything to do with me after I sing those songs to her.
STRETCH: Don't worry about that Manny, I'm sure she'll love your singing voice and you of course.
Before Manny could speak someone walked through the door. When Manny and the tools turned around they saw Mandy standing in front of the door.
MANNY: Hi, Mandy.
THE TOOLS: Hi, Mandy.
MANDY: Hi, Manny, hi, herramientas.
MANNY: So what brings you here Mandy?
MANDY: I was wondering if I can talk to the tools for a moment alone, Manny.
MANNY: Sure you can.
MANDY: Thanks Manny.
Now the tools followed Mandy outside where Manny can't hear them.
TURNER: So what did you want to talk to us about, Mandy?
MANDY: Well, Turner, remember yesterday when I wanted to talk to Kelly alone.
TURNER: Yeah I remember that.
STRETCH: In fact we all remember that.
MANDY: Well I'm going to tell you what I told Kelly yesterday.
DUSTY: So what did you tell Kelly yesterday?
MANDY: If I tell you will you promise me that you won't tell Manny.
THE TOOLS: We promise.
FELIPE AND FLICKER: Prometemos.
MANDY: Thanks, Tools. Gracias, herramientas.
STRETCH: So what do you not want us to tell Manny?
MANDY: Well, the truth is tools. I'm in love with Manny, but I'm too shy to tell him.
PAT: Why are you too shy to tell him?

DUSTY: I think you should tell him soon before it's too late.
MANDY: That's what Kelly said to me yesterday.
It's a few hours later and now it's time for the Sheetrock Hills Talent Show. Mandy was there with her family when she spotted Manny and the Tools.

TERRI: Where are they at, Baby girl?
MANDY (as she points to where Manny and the Tools are at): They're over there, mom.
SHARPAY: You were right, Mandy he is gorgeous.
MANDY: I told you that he was.
CHAD: Are those the Tools?
MANDY: Yes they are.
CHAD: You weren't kidding when you said he had talking tools.
SHARPAY: Can we meet them?
MANDY: Yeah sure.
Now Mandy and her family are walking over to where Manny and the Tools are at.
MANDY: Hi, Manny, Hi, Tools.
MANNY: Hi, Mandy. Who are these people?
MANDY: Manny, Tools, I like you to meet my mom, Terri, my dad Colby, my younger sister Sharpay and my younger brother Chad.
MANNY AND THE TOOLS: It's nice to meet all of you.
THE GRANGER FAMILY: It's nice to meet you too.
Now Manny is up on stage and it about to sing his first song.

Telling Manny The Truth

It's been two days since the Sheetrock Hills Talent Show. Mandy was in the park think about Manny when at that very moment Manny and the Tools were walking through when Dusty noticed Mandy sitting near the fountain.
DUSTY: Hey, Manny there's Mandy.
MANNY: Where?
DUSTY: Over there by the fountain.
MANNY: Oh, thanks, Dusty.
DUSTY: You're welcome, Manny.
MANNY: She looks so hermoso/beautiful today.
STRETCH: Why don't we go over and say hi to her, Manny?
MANNY: Are you sure?
FELIPE: Sí.
MANNY: I don't know if I can go over and say hi to her.
SQUEEZE: Why is that, Manny?
MANNY: Well, Squeeze, I want to tell her that I'm in love with her today but I just can't bring myself to say it. Tools you can go over and say hi to her by yourselves.
PAT: Are you going with us?
MANNY: Not yet, Pat.
DUSTY: But you will come over right, Manny?
MANNY: Yes I will when I'm ready.

Now the Tools hopped over to where Mandy was at sitting by th fountain.
THE TOOLS: Hi, Mandy.
MANDY: Oh, hi, tools. Hola, herramientas.
SQUEEZE (as she hops onto Mandy's leg): What are you doing over here?
MANDY: I was just think. By the way tools, where's Manny?
FELIPE (as he turns in the direction Manny is): He's over there.
MANDY (as she looks in the direction Felipe is looking): Oh. Why didn't he come over with you?
DUSTY: He had to figure something out first.
MANDY: Oh, ok. He looks so gorgeous/precioso today.
STRETCH: So, Mandy when are you going to tell Manny that you're in love with him?
MANDY: I was thinking about telling him today.
SQUEEZE: Why don't you call Manny over and tell him now?
MANDY: I can't Squeeze.

MANDY: Well actually to tell you the truth I was on my way to Manny's Repair Shop to tell him that I'm in love with him, but then I got nervous and shy and that's when I came over here to think about it for awhile.
Before the Tools could say anything Manny walked over.
MANNY: Hi, Mandy.
MANDY: Oh, hi, Manny.
MANNY: Tools can I talk to Mandy alone?
THE TOOLS: Sure, Manny.
Now Manny and Mandy are alone.
MANDY: So Manny what did you want to talk to me about?
MANNY: Well the truth is Mandy when I first saw you five days ago today I (gulped) fell in love in with you.
MANDY: You're in love with me Manny?
MANNY: Sí, estoy. Yes I am.
MANDY: Well, Manny, since I first saw you I fell in love in with.
MANNY: Really? ¿En serio?
MANDY: Really, Really. Muy, muy.
MANNY: I would like to sing you a song in Spanish.
MANDY: I would love to hear you sing a song in Spanish, Manny. What song are you singing in Spanish?

MANDY: I love that song. I know that song in English and Spanish.
Now Manny is singing "I'll Never Break Your Heart" in Spanish.

MANNY: Gracias, Mandy.

MANNY: Mandy, remember two nights ago at the Sheetrock Hills Talent Show I sang those song and I dedicated them to a special someone?
MANDY: Yeah I remember.
MANNY: Well I was singing those songs to you.
MANDY: That's cool. The songs I sang were dedicated to you, Manny.
MANNY: Are you sure?
MANDY: Yes I am.
MANNY: What do you want me to do now, Mandy?
MANDY: I want you to kiss me now.
Manny leaned in and gave Mandy a passionate kiss. What Manny and Mandy didn't know is that the Tools were watching the entire time. When the Tools saw Manny and Mandy kiss they were cheering really loud, but Manny and Mandy didn't hear the Tools cheering because they were too busy kissing each other. A few minutes later Manny broke the kiss from Mandy just as the Tools hopped over. Manny and Mandy noticed the Tools.
MANNY: Hi, Tools.
MANDY: What are all of you smiling about?
FELIPE: We all saw you two kissed.
DUSTY: I just wanted to say on behave of all the Tools we are so happy for you two.
MANNY & MANDY: Thanks, Tools. Gracias, herramientas.
THE TOOLS: You're welcome.
FELIPE & FLICKER: De nada.
Later that night Manny was in his bed dreaming about Mandy living with him. Mandy was in her bed dreaming about living with Manny.

Chapter 5
Mandy Moves In With Manny

It's been 3 months since Manny and Mandy have been dating. Mandy went into the repair shop to find the Tools there without Manny.
MANDY: Hi, Tools. Hola, herramientas.
THE TOOLS: Hi, Mandy.
MANDY: Where's Manny? ¿Dónde está Manny?
FELIPE: He went to returned something that we had to fix for Mrs. Portillo.
MANDY: Oh, ok. Gracias, Felipe.
FELIPE: De Nada.
A few minutes later Manny walking holding a bouquet of yellow daffodils. Mandy noticed the yellow daffodils that Manny carried into the repair shop.
MANDY: Hi, Manny.
MANNY: Oh, hi, Mandy.
MANDY: Who are those for?
MANNY: These are for you, cariño.
MANDY: Gracias, cariño.
MANNY: De nada, cariño.
A few seconds Mandy pulled Manny and gave him a passionate kiss. A few minutes later she broke the kiss. Manny took Mandy to the back room of the repair shop to put the daffodils in a vase full of water. A few minutes later they returned and Mandy decided to put the daffodils in the window by the front door so that they could get some sunlight.
MANNY: Mandy, why did you put them there?
MANDY: So they could get some sunlight.
DUSTY: Aren't you going to take them home with you when you have to go home?
MANDY: Actually Dusty I think that they would look better in here.
MANNY: Cariño, I was wondering since we've being going out for 3 months that you should move in with me.
When Manny said that Mandy was shocked and surprised.
MANDY: I would love to Manny, but I have to talk to my parents about this first.
MANNY: Yeah I know. Why don't you go tell them now?
MANDY: Oh ok. Gracias, Manny.
A few minutes later Mandy was at home talking to her parents.
MANDY: Mom, Dad, I have some great news to tell you.
TERRI: What's your great news, baby girl?
MANDY: Well when I went to go visit Manny and the Tools earlier today, well at first Manny wasn't there but when he returned he had a bouquet of yellow daffodils that he bought for me.
COLBY: Where are they?
MANDY: I left them in the repair shop. That way the shop would look nice and Manny agrees with me.
TERRI: Is that all or is there more to your great news that you have?
MANDY: There's more.
COLBY: What's the other part of your great news, angel?
MANDY: Well, Manny asked me if I would like to move in with him and I told him that I would love to but I had to talk to you first. So can I, mom and dad, can I please move in with Manny?
COLBY: Well...
TERRI (interrupting): Honey, they have been going out for 3 months now.
MANDY: Dad, mom's right about that.
TERRI: Also I know that Manny is very trustworthy.
MANDY: Mom's right about that. I know that Manny won't let any harm come to me.
COLBY: Well in that case you can move in with Manny.
MANDY (as she gave her father a passionate hug): Thanks, dad. I love you so much.
Mandy turns towards her mom.Mandy starts to get emotinal and then gives her mom a passionate hug.
MANDY (as she's still hugging her mom): I'm going to miss you mom.
TERRI (as she's hugging her daughter): I'm going to miss you too, baby girl.
A few seconds later there was a knock on the door. Colby went over and opened the door to find Manny standing on the other side.
COLBY: Hi, Manny.
MANNY: Hi, Mr. Granger.
COLBY: Please call me Colby.
MANNY: Ok. Is your daughter home?
COLBY: She's in her room.
MANNY: Can I go see her?
COLBY: Of course.
MANNY: Gracias.
COLBY: What's that mean?
MANNY: It's Thank You in Spanish. I thought you knew that because Mandy knows Spanish.
COLBY: Well only she knows Spanish.
MANNY: And she never talks Spanish here at home?
COLBY: No she doesn't because shes knows that her mother, brother, sister and I don't know Spanish.
A few seconds later Manny went into Mandy's room.
MANNY: Hola, cariño.
MANDY: Hola, cariño.
MANNY: Why didn't you tell me that your family doesn't speak Spanish?
MANDY: You never asked.
MANNY: So what did your parents say? Can you move in with me or not?
MANDY: They said that I can move in with you.
When Mandy said that Manny picked her up and spun her around then he put her down. A half hour later Manny and Mandy had all Mandy's stuff packed away and were on their way to Manny's house. Another half hour later they arrived at Manny's house and they brought in all of Mandy's stuff and it didn't take them that long to unpack all of Mandy's stuff.
MANNY: So now that your all unpacked what do you want to do now?
MANDY: I don't know. What do you want to do, Manny?
MANNY: Well, I was thinking that we could sing a song together.
MANDY: Manny, I would love to sing a song with you. What song are we going to sing?
MANNY: I was thinking that we could sing a song called "If I Never Knew You."
MANDY: I love that song.
Now Mandy and Manny are singing "If I Never Knew You."
MANNY (singing):

After they sang that song Manny pulled Mandy closed and started kissing her passionately.
MANNY: Cariño, I am so glad that you are now living with me.
MANDY: Yeah I know me too.
MANNY: I didn't like it when we were always apart for the past 3 months.
MANDY: I didn't like it either. Sometimes I couldn't sleep at night because I was missing you too much.
MANNY: The same thing kept happening to me, too.
Later that night Manny and Mandy were in Manny's bed sleeping in each other's embrace, finally.
