Chapter 1
Love Struck Don

One day at the FBI Building Don is at his desk and let out long sigh. Megan is walking by.
“What’s wrong Eppes?” Megan asked.
“I don’t want to talk about it.” Don answered.
Colby walked over.
“You’ll feel better if you do.” Colby said.
“GRANGER SHUT UP.” Don yelled.
Colby rolled his eyes just as his younger sister Josephina walked in the building. Don looked at Josephina.
“Wow it’s been a long time since you’ve been around.” Don said.
“Yeah I know and I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had chance to stop by.” Josephina replied.
“Well it’s really good to see you.” Don said.
“Thanks it’s good to see you too Agent Eppes.” Josephine replied.
Colby hugged Josephina. Josephina sighed. Colby looked at her.
“What’s wrong sis?” Colby asked.
“I really miss Dora.” Josephina answered.
Don looked at Josephina.
“Who’s Dora?” Don asked.
“She’s my best friend but her real name Dorina and I haven’t seen her along time.” Josephina answered.
Megan sighed deeply just as Charlie and Larry walked in the building. Larry walked over to Megan.
“Are you okay sweet one?” Larry asked.
“Yes I’m fine.” Megan answered.
Colby rolled his eyes and looked at Megan.
“Could I talk you alone for a few minutes?” Colby asked.
“Yeah sure.” Megan answered.
Colby and Megan walked out of earshot.
“What’s wrong with you?” Colby asked.
“I really don’t feel like talking about it.” Megan answered.
“You’ll feel better if you do.” Colby said.
“I’m just not ready to talk about it.” Megan replied.
“Okay than but whenever you are I want you to know that I’m hear to listen.” Colby said.
Megan smiled and hugged Colby.
“Thanks Colby.” Megan replied.
“Anytime Megan.” Colby said.
Colby and Megan walked back over to the others. Don looked at Josephine.
“How old are you?” Don asked.
“I’m 25 years old.” Josephina answered.
Don smiled. All of a sudden someone tapped Josephine on the shoulder. Josephina turned and gasped when she seen her best friend Dorina Farrand standing behind her. Don noticed Dorina and fell madly in love with her.
“Hi Josephina.” Dorina said.
“What are you doing here?” Josephina asked.
“I moved here a few days ago than I went to see you and your mother told me where here visiting your older brother.” Dorina answered.
Megan looked at Dorina than at Josephina.
“Who’s this?” Megan asked.
“This is my best friend Dorina Farrand but she prefers to be called Dora.” Josephina answered.
Don smiled.
“Hi there, I’m Special Agent Don Eppes.” Don said.
“It’s nice to meet you Don.” Dorina replied.
“Why do you prefer to be called Dora?” Megan asked.
“I don’t really like the Dorina that much.” Dorina answered.
Don sighed than walked over. Charlie smiled.
“I’m Professor Charles Edward Eppes from CalSci but please call me Charlie.” Charlie said.
Dorina looked at Larry.
“This is Larry Fleinhardt and he’s my boyfriend.” Megan replied.
Don sighed deeply. Charlie looked at Don than took him out of earshot.
“What’s wrong Don?” Charlie asked.
“I’m madly in love with Dorina.” Don answered.
“What happen to Liz?” Charlie asked.
“Liz and I broke a few weeks ago because things just weren’t working out.” Don answered.
“Are you going to tell Dorina how you feel?” Charlie asked.
“Yes I am but only when the perfect moment comes.” Don answered.
Don and Charlie walked back over to the others. Dorina sighed. Josephina looked Dorina.
“What’s wrong?” Josephina asked.
“I’m just so fed up with getting hurt all the time by guys who claim that they love me.” Dorina answered.
Don sighed.
“What do you mean?” Megan asked.
“I’ve been in love lots of times but it never worked because they didn’t really love me like they said they did.” Dorina answered.
“What were their names?” Charlie asked.
“The first guy’s name was Calab Galton.” Dorina answered.
“How many guys have you been with?” Megan asked.
“I’ve been 4 in total.” Dorina answered.
“What was the second guy’s name?” Charlie asked.
“His name is Jarah Marten.” Dorina answered.
“What was the third guy’s name?” Megan asked.
“The third guy’s name was Edrick Willard.” Dorina answered.
“What about the last guy?” Charlie asked.
“His name was Bevon McNeil and I really thought he was the one but it turns out that he wasn’t.” Dorina answered.
“The right guy is out there someone and you could be close than you think.” Megan said.
“Well I really don’t care if he is because I’m giving on up on love altogether.” Dorina replied.
Don gasped.
“No, Dora you can’t give up on love because it’s a special part of life and not having it in your life will only make you sad.” Don said.
“Where did that come from?” Megan asked.
“It came from my heart.” Don answered.
A few hours later Don is Charlie’s place sitting on the couch thinking about Dorina. Alan walked into the room and noticed Don in deep thought.
“What are you thinking about?” Alan asked.
“I’m not thinking about anything but I am thinking about someone.” Don answered.
“Who would that be?” Alan asked.
Charlie walked into the room.
“He’s thinking about Josephina’s best friend Dorina Farrand.” Charlie answered.
“Why is he thinking about her?” Alan asked.
“He’s madly in love with her.” Charlie answered.
“Don doesn’t fall madly in love.” Alan said.
“Well there’s a first time for everything dad because I have fall madly in love with her.” Don replied.
A few hours passed. Don in his bed of his apartment dreaming about Dorina and her being his girl. Dorina is bed at her house dreaming of Don and being his girl. Josephina is her bed dreaming of her boyfriend Joe Jonas. Evangelica and Paydon are sleeping in each other’s embrace.

Chapter 2
Friction Between Friends

It’s been a few days since Don met Josephina’s best friend Dorina Farrand and he can’t stop thinking about her. Don at his office when Colby walked by.
“What’s wrong with you lately?” Colby asked.
“I don’t feel like talking about it.” Don answered.
Josephina walked up behind her brother and hugged him. Colby turned around and hugged her back. Josephina looked around.
“Where’s Megan?” Josephina asked.
“I’m not sure but if I had to take a guess she’s probably with Larry.” Colby answered.
Josephina sighed.
“Well I really wanted to talk to her.” Josephina said.
“About what?” Colby asked.
“It’s something that I’d feel more comfortable to talking to a woman about.” Josephina answered.
“You always used to talk me when you were younger.” Colby said.
“I’m older now and there’s just something things I’d feel better talking to woman about.” Josephina replied.
Dorina walked up behind Josephina and tapped her on the shoulder. Josephina screamed and jump a foot in the air. Don started to laugh.
“Did I scare you?” Dorina asked.
Josephina turned around to face Dorina.
“Yeah you did Dora and don’t ever do that again.” Josephina answered in a rude tone.
“I’m sorry.” Dorina said.
Dorina ran off.
“JOSEPHINA GRANGER.” Colby yelled.
“What?” Josephina asked.
“I really think that was uncalled for and you should apologize to her after she’s your best friend.” Colby answered.
“But she scared me.” Josephina said.
“Don’t talk back me just go or I’ll get mom.” Colby replied.
Josephina sighed than walked.
“Do you think you were a little rough on her?” Don asked.
“No, I don’t and I would appreciate it you minded your own business when it comes my younger sister.” Colby answered.
Megan walked in and over to Colby.
“Did you wake on the wrong side of this morning?” Megan asked.
“No, I didn’t.” Colby answered.
“Well it sure seems that way.” Megan said.
Don grinned.
“I know how to him to calm down.” Don replied.
“How do you plan do that?” Larry asked.
“I’m going his mother.” Don answered.
“No, please don’t call my mom.” Colby yelled.
“Are you going to calm down?” Don asked.
“I don’t have answer that.” Colby answered.
Don took out his cellphone and dial Colby’s home number. Colby whimpered in fear. Terri picked up the phone.
“Hello Terri Granger.” Terri said.
“Hi Terri, it’s Don Eppes.” Don replied.
“Why are you phoning me?” Terri asked.
“I need you to come down to calm down your son because he’s yelling and screaming at everyone.” Don answered.
Terri sighed.
“Okay I’m on my way.” Terri said.
Don and Terri hung up on each other. Don looked around for Colby but he’s nowhere in sight. Don looked at Megan.
“Where did Colby go?” Don asked.
“He’s over there.” Megan answered pointing to where Colby is.
Colby is hiding under his desk and whimpering in fear.
“Is he actually afraid of his mother?” Don asked.
“Yeah he is and you’ll see why when she gets here.” Megan answered.
Terri walked through the door.
“Where is he?” Terri asked.
“He’s over there under the desk.” Megan answered.
Terri walked over to where Colby is.
“COLBY GRANGER GET OUT FROM UNDER THAT DESK RIGHT NOW.” Terri yelled.
Colby got out of under the desk and sighed.
“Mom calm down.” Colby said.
“Don’t you tell me to calm because you’re the one that needs to calm down so I’m told.” Terri replied.
“I’m fine now really.” Colby said.
“What made you act the way you did?” Terri asked.
“Dorina came behind Josephina and scared her than Josephina was rude to Dorina about scaring her.” Colby answered.
“Why should that both you?” Terri asked.
“She made Dorina leave and I told what she said was uncalled for than she got mad at me.” Colby answered.
“Colby go find your sister and apologize to her.” Terri said.
Colby sighed than walked over to find Josephina. Josephina is sitting on the steps going into the FBI building. Colby sat down next to her.
“I’m sorry for raising my voice at you.” Colby replied.
Josephina looked at her father.
“It’s okay I forgive you and I really feel bad for everything said.” Josephina said.
~Meanwhile on the other side of the FBI building~
Dorina is sitting with knees pulled up to her chin with her head buried in them and she’s crying. Don walked outside and sat next to Dorina.
“Are you okay?” Don asked.
Dorina looked at Don.
“Yeah I think so but what Josephina said really hurt.” Dorina answered.
Don took a sleeve of his shirt and wiped away Dorina’s tears.
“I know it does because she’s best friend and you two seem really close.” Don said.
“Yeah we are close and she’s more like my sister than my best friend.” Dorina replied.
Don smiled a little.
“Well when you’ve known someone a long time it seems that way.” Don said.
Dorina smiled a little.
“Wow Don is so gorgeous.” Dorina thought to herself.
Don noticed Dorina in deep thought.
“What are you thinking about?” Don asked.
“Oh it’s nothing important.” Dorina answered.
“Are you sure?” Don asked.
“Yeah I’m sure.” Dorina answered.
“Are you really okay now?” Don asked.
“Yes I am and thanks for talking with me because it really helped me feel better.” Dorina answered.
“I’m glad that I could help.” Don said.
Don got to his feet and helped Dorina to her feet. They walk back inside. Josephina walked over to Dorina.
“I’m really sorry for being mean to you early.” Josephina said.
Dorina smiled.
“That’s okay and I’m sorry for scaring you.” Dorina replied.
Dorina and Josephina hugged. Colby and Don just smiled. Dorina looked over at Don and smiled at him. Don smiled back which made Dorina blush a little. Josephina noticed Dorina blushing.
“Why are you blushing like that?” Josephina asked.
“If I tell it has to stay between just you and me.” Dorina answered.
“Don’t worry it wont’ tell a soul.” Josephina said.
“I think I’m falling in love.” Dorina replied.
“With who?” Josephina asked.
“Don Eppes.” Dorina answered.
Josephina glared at Dorina.
“You do know that he’s 11 years older than you.” Josephina said.
Dorina nodded her head.
“I know that and if my father finds out that I’m in love with a man 11 years older than me than he’ll be furious.” Dorina said.
“Why would he?” Josephina asked.
“You know how he is.” Dorina answered.
“It shouldn’t really matter because Jarah was 11 years older than you and Bevon was almost 13 years older than you.” Josephina said.
“Well my father was happy with me being in love with them at first.” Dorina replied.
Josephina smiled.
“He’ll get use to you being in love with Don after awhile.” Josephina said.
Dorina smiled than walked home. Dorina let out long sigh just as her mother Evangelica walked into the hallway.
“What’s wrong sweetie?” Evangelica asked.
“I’m in love with someone.” Dorina answered.
“Who is it?” Evangelica asked.
“His name is Don Eppes and he’s the one charge of FBI.” Dorina answered.
“Wow an FBI Agent that’s great.” Evangelica said.
Dorina looked at her mother.
“Why is that great mom?” Dorina asked.
“He’d be able to protect in ways that your father couldn’t.” Evangelica answered.
All of a sudden the phone rang. Evangelica picked up the receiver.
“Hello Evangelica Farrand here.” Evangelica said.
“Is Dorina home?” A voice asked.
“Yes she is but I’d like to know who this is first.” Evangelica answered.
“My name is Don Eppes and I met her daughter yesterday at the FBI building where I work.” Don answered.
Evangelica passed Dorina the phone.
“Hello Dora here.” Dorina said.
“Hi Dora it’s Don.” Don replied.
“Why are you calling me?” Dorina asked.
“I called because after you left I noticed a pearl necklace lying on the ground and I was wondering if was yours.” Don answered.
Dorina looked down around her neck and noticed that her pearl necklace was gone.
“Yes it’s mine.” Dorina said.
“Well I’ll keep it safe until you come to visit again.” Don replied.
“Thanks Don, I really appreciate that.” Dorina said.
“You’re welcome.” Don replied.
“How did you get my phone number?” Dorina asked.
“Josephina told me it when I found the necklace.” Don answered.
Dorina smiled than her and Don hung up on each other.
“What did Don want?” Evangelica asked.
“My pearl necklace fell off while I was the FBI building today so he’s going to hold onto for me until I go visit again.” Dorina answered.
“How old is this Don guy?” Evangelica asked.
Dorina sighed.
“He’s 36 years old.” Dorina answered.
Dorina’s father Paydon walked into the hallway.
“Who’s 36 years old?” Paydon asked.
“Special Agent Don Eppes of the FBI.” Dorina answered.
Paydon looked at Dorina.
“Are you in love with him?” Paydon asked.
“Yes I am dad.” Dorina answered.
“Why do you always go for the older guys?” Paydon asked.
“They’re more mature and a lot hotter.” Dorina answered.
Paydon shook his head. A few hours go by and it’s nighttime. Dorina is bed dreaming of Don and Don is bed dreaming of Dorina. Josephina is her bed dreaming of seeing her boyfriend Joe again. Megan and Larry are asleep in each other’s embrace. Amita and Charlie are sleeping in other’s embrace.

Chapter 3
Just Can’t Hide Them Inside Anymore

It’s been a few days since Josephina and Dorina’s little fight. Dorina is up her bedroom thinking about Don when suddenly there’s a knock on the door. Dorina sighed.
“It’s open.” Dorina said.
Josephina walked into Dorina’s bedroom and looked at her.
“When are you going to tell Don how you feel?” Josephina asked.
“’I’m not sure when I’m going to tell him.” Dorina answered.
“Well I do.” Josephina said.
Dorina got a confused look on her face.
“When I am going to tell him?” Dorina asked.
“You are going to tell him today.” Josephina answered.
“What do you mean today?” Dorina asked.
“I’m going to visit my brother Colby so you’re coming with me and you’re going to tell Don because if you don’t than I will.” Josephina answered.
Dorina sighed. Josephina and Dorina walked to visit the FBI. Don is sitting at his desk when Josephina and Dorina walked in. Don smiled when he saw Dorina. Dorina sighed deeply.
“I can’t do it.” Dorina whimpered in fear.
“Yes you can.” Josephina said.
“No, I can’t.” Dorina replied.
“Well you have to.” Josephina said.
“I just came with an idea how to tell him.” Dorina replied.
“What would that be?” Josephina asked.
“I need you to get everyone out here and I’m going to sing a song.” Dorina answered.
“What song are you going to sing?” Josephina asked.
“I’m going to sing Eternal Flame by Atomic Kitten.” Dorina answered.
Josephina got everyone where they could hear Dorina sing.
“Dorina is going to sing a song for a very special someone here and than she’s going to tell you who it’s for.” Josephina said.
Dorina took a deep breath and started to sing Eternal Flame by Atomic Kitten.

Don smiled. Dorina and Don went out earshot.
“Will you tell me now why you were singing that song?” Don asked.
Dorina took a deep breath.
“I’m in love with you.” Dorina answered.
“You are?” Don asked.
Dorina nodded her head.
“Yeah I am every since that day that you cheer up after my friend Beau said that he didn’t want to start a relationship because he didn’t want to ruin our friendship over it.” Dorina answered.
Don smiled.
“I’m so glad to hear you say that because I’ve been in love from the first moment I met you.” Don said.
“You have?” Dorina asked.
Don nodded his head.
“Yeah I have.” Don answered.
Don smiled than pulled Dorina close and kissed her. Dorina’s eyes widen in shock. A few minutes later Don broke the kiss. Dorina looked at Don.
“Why did you stop?” Dorina asked.
“I don’t know.” Don answered.
Dorina sighed deeply. A few hours later Dorina is at Josephina’s house. Josephina and Dorina are in Josephina’s bedroom. Dorina sighed. Josephina looked at Dorina.
“What’s wrong?” Josephina asked.
“I can’t stop thinking about Don Eppes.” Dorina answered.
“Did you tell him how you feel?” Josephina asked.
“Yes I did and he feels the exact same way.” Dorina answered.
“What happen after you both admit your feelings?” Josephina asked.
“He kissed me.” Dorina answered.
“What was it like when he kissed you?” Josephina asked.
“It was magical and I felt a really strong connection between us.” Dorina answered.
Colby is walking down the hallway and heard everything. Colby took out his cellphone and dialed Don’s number.
“Eppes.” Don said.
“Hi Don.” Colby replied.
“What do you want Granger?” Don asked.
“My sister’s best friend really misses you.” Colby answered.
“I miss you too.” Don said.
“Where are you?” Colby asked.
“I’m over at my father’s house.” Don answered.
“You do that you have apartment right?” Colby asked.
Don sighed.
“Yeah I know but I just want to see my father.” Don answered.
Colby sighed.
“I really think that you should come over here before Dorina starts to miss you too much.” Colby said.
Don smiled.
“I’ll be over in a few minutes but don’t tell her I’m coming.” Don replied.
“Don’t worry I won’t.” Colby said.
~Meanwhile in Josephina~
Dorina let out a long sigh.
“Are you okay?” Josephina asked.
Dorina shook her head no.
“No, I’m not.” Dorina answered.
“Uh-oh.” Josephina said.
Dorina sighed deeply. Josephina leaned over and put her hand on Dorina’s’ forehead. Josephina got a worried look on her face.
“What’s wrong?” Dorina asked.
“You’re burning up.” Josephina answered.
All of a sudden they heard the front open and close.
“Who could be here?” Dorina asked.
“I don’t know.” Josephina answered.
~Meanwhile down in the hallway~
Don let out a gasp.
“Are you okay Eppes?” Colby asked.
“Yeah I am but I just got his sharp pain in the pit of my stomach and I don’t know why.” Don answered.
Josephina walked through the hallway and into downstairs bathroom. Don and Colby followed Josephina.
“What are you doing sis?” Colby asked.
“I’m getting a damp face cloth.” Josephina answered.
“What for?” Colby asked.
“It’s to bring down Dorina’s fever.” Josephina answered.
“Dorina’s what?” Don asked with in a worried tone.
“Her fever.” Josephina answered.
Don got a really worried look on his face.
“Let me do it.” Don said.
Josephina smiled than passed the cloth to Don. Don got it damp than went to Josephina’s room. Dorina is passed out on Josephina’s bed. Don picked up Dorina in his arms and started to leave the house.
“Where are you going with her?” Colby asked.
“I’m taking her back to my apartment so that I can take better care of her.” Don answered.
“Let us know when she’s back to normal.” Don said.
Don nodded his head and went back to his apartment. Don laid Dorina on his couch and went to the bathroom. Don got a cloth wet and took it back out to where Dorina is. Don put the damp cloth on Dorina’s forehead to bring down her fever. Dorina sighed happily. A few hours go passed. Don is out in the kitchen making something to eat. Dorina moaned and slowly opened her eyes. Dorina looked around trying to figure out where she is. Don walked into the living room and smiled when he seen that Dorina is awake. Dorina looked at Don.
“Where I am?” Dorina asked.
“My apartment.” Don answered.
“How did I get here?” Dorina asked.
“I took you after you passed out at Josephina’s house early.” Don answered.
Dorina went to get up but fell back down. Don walked over and sat next to Dorina. Don pulled Dorina close to him. Dorina smiled and laid her head on Don’s shoulder.
“Why did you bring me here?” Dorina asked.
“I wanted to keep an eye on you because when I found out that you was sick I was really worried.” Don answered.
Dorina sighed. Don tightens his grip on around Dorina. A few minutes Don looked to down to discover that Dorina has fallen asleep. Don took out his cellphone and dialed Dorina’s number. Dorina’s mother Evangelica picked up the receiver.
“Hello Evangelica Farrand here.” Evangelica said.
“Hi Mrs. Farrand, it’s Don Eppes.” Don replied.
“What would you like?” Evangelica asked.
“I just wanted to let you know that Dorina is my place and she’s sick so I hope that you don’t mind her staying here for the night so that I can keep an eye on her.” Don answered.
“That’s not a problem.” Evangelica said.
Don smiled than passed to the off button on his cellphone. Don put a blanket over Dorina and kissed her on the forehead. Don walked to his bedroom and went to sleep. A few hours later Dorina woke from a scary nightmare. Dorina gasped than ran into Don’s bedroom.
“Don wake up.” Dorina said.
Don opened his eyes.
“What’s wrong darling?” Don asked.
“I had a nightmare.” Dorina answered.
“Well don’t worry it wasn’t real.” Don said.
“I know that but I’m too scared to go back to sleep in living room.” Dorina replied.
Don smiled.
“If that’s case come here.” Don said.
“Are you sure that’s a good idea?” Dorina asked.
“Yes I am because it may the only way you’ll get back to sleep tonight.” Don answered.
Dorina walked over and climbed into bed with Don. Don wrapped his arms around Dorina. They fall asleep in each other’s embrace. The next morning Don is up before Dorina. Don walked out the kitchen and started to make breakfast. Dorina woke up to find that Don isn’t in bed. Dorina walked out the kitchen than up behind Don and rested her head on his shoulder.
“Good morning handsome.” Dorina said.
“Mornin’ to you too beautiful.” Don replied.
“What’s for breakfast?” Dorina asked.
“Pancakes.” Don answered.
“Wow cool my favorite.” Dorina said.
“I’m glad to hear that.” Don replied.
Don smiled. Dorina walked into living room and sat down on the couch. All of a sudden Dorina’s cellphone rang. Dorina hit the talk button.
“Hello Dora here.” Dorina said.
“Are you feeling better today?” Josephina asked.
“Yes I’m feeling much better today.” Dorina answered.
“Where are you anyway?” Josephina asked.
“I stayed at Don’s apartment last night.” Dorina answered.
“Where did you sleep?” Josephina asked.
“I spelt on the couch until I had a nightmare than for the rest of night I spelt with Don.” Dorina answered.
“You spelt with Don?” Josephina asked.
Dorina smiled.
“Yeah I did but trust me all we did was sleep in each other’s embrace.” Dorina answered.
“Did you have your breakfast yet?” Josephina asked.
“No, I haven’t but Don is making it now.” Dorina answered.
“I’ll let you go than.” Josephina said.
Dorina and Josephina hung up on each other. Don walked into the living room with the pancakes. Don and Dorina each have 3 pancakes. The day goes by and now it’s nighttime again. Dorina is home in her bed dreaming of her future with Don. Don is bed dreaming on his future with Dorina. Amita and Charlie are sleeping in each other’s embrace. Colby is his bed dreaming of one day telling Megan that he’s in love with her. David and Claudia are sleeping in each other embrace. Alan and Millie are sleeping each other’s embrace.
